What is DMARC?

Tell receivers what to do with fakes.

DMARC builds on SPF and DKIM: it sets a policy for mail that fails authentication and sends you reports on who's sending as your domain. Without it — or stuck on p=none — spoofers run free.

  1. 01

    Fetch _dmarc record

We query the TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain and confirm it's a valid v=DMARC1 policy.

  2. 02

    Parse every tag

p, sp, rua, ruf, pct, adkim, aspf — each tag is broken out and labeled in plain English.

  3. 03

    Judge enforcement

We tell you whether the policy actually stops spoofed mail (quarantine/reject) or is merely watching (p=none).

FAQ

DMARC records, answered.

p=none monitors only — failing mail is still delivered. p=quarantine sends it to spam. p=reject blocks it outright. Reject is the goal; none is where you start while you read the reports.

Spoofers handled. Now handle the bounces.
