A license to use — not a license to clone.
The terms for our app, SDKs, and API clients. Fork our open-source libraries freely; keep our proprietary software proprietary. Your data stays yours.
01License grant
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) governs your use of EmailListChecker software — our web application, command-line tools, API client libraries, SDKs, browser extensions, and any integrations we publish (collectively, the “Software”). It works alongside our Terms of Service, which govern the hosted Service itself.
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software solely to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.
02What you may not do
Except where applicable law expressly permits, you will not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software beyond what our open-source licenses explicitly allow.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble closed-source components.
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or offer the Software as a competing verification service.
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices, or circumvent rate limits, license keys, or usage metering.
- Use the Software to build a product that replicates the Service's core verification functionality.
03Open-source components
Some of our SDKs and client libraries are released under permissive open-source licenses (such as MIT or Apache 2.0). Those components are governed by their own license terms, which prevail over this EULA for that code. Where we include third-party open-source software, we comply with and pass through the applicable notices.
Our published API clients are yours to fork and adapt under their open license. This EULA's restrictions apply to our proprietary Software, not to permissively licensed code.
04Ownership
We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property rights. This EULA grants a license, not a sale. Your data — the lists you submit and the verdicts we return — remains yours; we claim no ownership over your content.
05Updates
We may release updates, patches, and new versions of the Software. For client libraries you install, updates are optional but recommended for security; for the hosted Service, updates are automatic. We may deprecate older API versions with reasonable notice.
06Warranty disclaimer & liability
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability arising from the Software is governed by the limitation-of-liability terms in our Terms of Service.
07Termination
This license terminates automatically if you breach it, or when your access to the Service ends. On termination you must stop using and delete the proprietary Software. Sections on ownership, disclaimers, and liability survive. Questions go to [email protected].
